The PRIMIGI System is a true Guarantee of Quality characterized by its continuous innovations and unique features.  PRIMIGI shoes are exceptionally known for being very lightweight, excellent flexibility and with an amazing fit.  PRIMIGI shoes have additional performance features such as the Anti-Shock System, the Sky Effect System and the Flexible Action System.    Most of PRIMIGI shoes are also equipped with removable and washable insoles.  Made from natural leathers, they can be easily rinsed once a week in soapy water to help keep bacteria from growing in the interest of healthy feet.

The Sky Effect System

The Sky Effect System is a special insole that contains all of the characteristics of a normal PRIMIGI insole as well as some other unique features.    Almost all of PRIMIGI insoles can be removed and washed.  They are made of high- quality materials and lined with the softest leather.  The Sky effect system insoles are extra light weight, flexible, and shock absorbing.  The insoles are very breathable and antibacterial.  They should be washed gently ( as you would for wool garments) by hand washing using a neutral soap without rubbing or twisting them.. The insoles should then be left to dry well making sure to keep them away from direct sources of heat before they are placed inside the shoe again.

The Flexible Action System

is a special design of the sole making all PRIMIGI shoes extremely flexible providing comfort in the place where the foot requires greater give from the shoe.  On the tread side of the sole, near the area where it bends, there are a series of grooves that cut into the material decreasing its thickness.  Carefully designed in shape and depth these grooves allow for maximum flexibility while ensuring perfect grip as well as extreme comfort during walking.  A special midsole made from very soft, hard wearing material makes it easier for the shoe to bend. The system is completed with the use of rubber compounds in the sole that have been carefully balanced to create the best mix of flexibility, grip and lightness.

The Anti-Shock  System

The Anti-Shock  System consists of an air chamber in the sole precisely where the heel rests, which acts as a shock absorber while on the outside of the shoe , the heel area of the sole( in proximity to this  air chamber),  is in the shape of a convex cap boosting this shock absorbing effect.

The heel of the foot has to bear the bulk of the body’s weight. The heel is the most exposed to the natural function of supporting and absorbing the normal little shocks of walking and running.  This is why to ensure the utmost safety and comfort, PRIMIGI has developed this special system.

An idea

A soft cushioning will protect baby’s Achilles’ heel when he is crawling.  PRIMIGINO has created PRIMIGINO especially for this purpose.

PRIMIGINO shoes are outstanding for their sack-like conformation that ensures softness and flexibility and has protective cushion around the ankle.  All the models have been designed with a wide opening to make them easy to slip on and off.  The PRIMIGINO line features special rear support to reinforce the heel and ensure a correct posture.  Soft insoles that are anti-mycotic and antibacterial which offer physiological arch support. 12-14 months……… just about walking

The ideal shoe at this age are the high-top models that give correct support to the child’s ankles, without being too tight, unlike the low cut models which might slip of easily when his little feet are still quite chubby.  Another important feature is that his shoes must be extremely delicate when in contact with his sensitive skin without losing their shape.  The soles are wide and pliable at the toe and sturdier at the heel in order to give him a good footing.  These materials  should be natural and soft such as leather, hide or fabric.

Buckles, Laces or Velcro?

Velcro fastenings are fine, as well as making shoes easy to put on and take off.  This will help your child to learn how to unfasten them very quickly!  IF he is very tiny it may be better to go for the laces or buckles.  These two methods offer a further advantage of more precise fastening and therefore are particularly suitable for little feet that are still taking shape.

15 months -5years…. Feet are always on the go

What about transpiration?

Since children are so active and frequently go from indoors to outdoors and vice versa, their footwear must allow their feet to breathe.   The insole in particular must be chosen in natural breathable materials.

Children of this age, especially boys, would wear training shoes all day long.  It is advisable however to get them used to wearing the right shoes for each occasion starting from a very early age.  Each model In fact, has been created for a specific purpose.  Training shoes should only be worn for sports activities while, for the rest of the day, we should choose shoes that children love for their sporty appearance and that mothers value for their light and breathable materials.
